We have tried in earnest to equip and furnish our cottage as we would like to find in our travels. We enjoy artwork and contemporary design, the grounds are a site for sculpture, the walls are for our love of West Coast art, both for our home and in the cottage. We like the warmth of a wood fire, the comfort of a place to sit and read with feet up, but need to see the ocean close at hand. That comfort, relaxation and views of the sea and our abundant wildlife bring us and our guests hours and days of enjoyment.

There are 34 steps to the waters edge, OK, at high tide, but the easily walked beach abounds with treasures to be found. My Grand sons and daughters whip me at finding beach glass, crabs, oysters and mussels, but so far miss the sedum growing on the little island just a few minutes away, or the views of the eagle nest, or the pack of otters feeding in the bay.

It really is a beautiful place, come and join us. Yes, you can hear the waves!
