We live at the quiet, peaceful end of Gabriola as I like to remind my good friend at the "busy" North End. In truth, about 15 minutes separates us, but I like that separation.

Drumbeg Park is a pleasant stroll away, my phone says it is 4.8 km there and back following the road, it is our every day morning walk. There is a sandy beach for summer swimming and lots of opportunity for views and wildlife and the Spring's wild flowers are gorgeous. One of Gabriola's treasures.

Silva Bay is the marine hub of Gabriola where you can find charters for Scuba Diving, Kayaking, Fishing Adventures, Scooter and Bike rentals. Regrettably only in the summer season, The Silva Bay Pub is where you can sit on the deck overlooking the boats of all sizes.
